Training
We offer additional training, on a fee basis, in a running restaurant using two Southern Pride smokers.
Training will consist of 5 days, Monday through Friday, no Saturdays or Sundays.
Training hours are from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
If you have a specific area of restaurant of business or product that you are interested in learning, please let us know. We will try to tailor the training to your need but it is up to the individual to apply themselves during the training.
Please feel free to ask any questions before you arrive during your stay. Cancellations need to be made 48 hrs prior to scheduled session. No refunds for partial week.
Training will consist of:
Proper handling of the product
Scheduled cooking of pork, beef, chicken, and ribs
Sandwich making
Plate presentation
Product yield
Food and supply costs
Actual hands-on kitchen and serving line training
Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Cost
Cost of training is $5000 for one person.
Each additional person cost $2500 during the same time period.
No expenses for travel, lodging, or food is included.
